I’m Tyler Aaron Land, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of California, Irvine, expected to graduate in June 2027. I have hands on experience in mechanical design and manufacturing through roles as a Junior Design Engineer and Design Engineer Intern, where I used SolidWorks and CAD tools to support product development and testing. I’m eager to continue applying my technical skills in design, engineering analysis, and team based projects.

Assisted in the preparation of a record land speed setting motorcycle named “Red Baron” under the guidance of Robert “Smitty” Smith and Amy Dunford. Member of the Pit crew assisting in the race season and preparations of the Motorcycle.

Mechanical Engineer
Used SolidWorks to create, design, and modify a Chassis to be used in a Semi-professional racing setting. Led a team of 2 other engineers to design and manufacture a rotating Jig to be used to weld the chassis to FSAE standards, using SolidWorks to design and welding techniques to manufacture.
